Il Mucchio Selvaggio
Forty years well spent with Il Mucchio Selvaggio, the oldest italian music magazine born in 1977.
The mast head restyling took into consideration the various re-work of the entire brand that took place over the years, from Il Mucchio Selvaggio – the rock magazine to the sharpener version Mucchio. We never approached the restyling with a nostalgic eye, we looked forward to evolve the magazine voice keeping in mind its rich and honorable music journalism history.
The letters are a mix between a blackletter with a simplified ductus, and a sans serif with no contrast.
